Port exit in front of sub...any problems?

I'm attempting to modify my current box. I'm using a larger/longer aero, that requires a 90 degree bend.

The port comes out the front of the box, makes a 90 degree turn and ends right in front of the sub. Would there be any problems with this? For those that couldn't picture my explanation, the port ends perpendicularly to the sub and is about 4-5" away from it.

Other than looks, there's nothing wrong with positioning the port as you have illustrated.

(been there, done that, doesn't matter)

yeah, ive never seen this either. but i dont see what it could affect.
i would only make sure that you will get the tunning you want out of that aero port. i dont know how you would do that, but hopefully youve figured that out already
