Help with box dimensions

Hello everyone. I am new here and need help with building a box for a 10'' type R. I have looked at this (http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=137804) but not sure if any will work.

I have the "optimum vented box dimensions" specs and it says;

external box dimensions - 12.5'' x 14.5'' x 17.25'' (not sure what is what, height, width, width, height)

Vent area - 11in squared or 11'' x 1''
Vent length - 22''
Vent displacement - .237 ft cubed

How do I use this to build a box. Sorry for being noob. Just not knowledgeable when it come to building boxes. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

it's 12.5 tall 17.25 wide and 14.5 deep

there are simpler ones there
what are your max dims
what vehicle

You mean my trunk dimensions? 34 cubic ft.
Its a 04' Jetta.

Yea I want to make somethig like that. I don't really have a max dimension as long as it doesn't take up my whole trunk. Just a decent size box that sounds good, preferably vented. Which one of those boxes would you reccomend for a type r 10"? Thanks for all the help.
