I am designing a large ported box for SPL applications. (2 15A's 5+cubes, i havent decided yet, it really depends on how well the aperiodic damping works.) This box will have switchable, sealable ports.
I also want this box to work for SQ. And i can (WILL) happen. I will turn off one of the subs and seal the other's port (they have nonshared volume) . I want variable Aperiodic damping to the side that i have sealed.
I am going to need any and all help on this. Any sites, books, magazine articles, or personal knowledge on aperiodic dampening is what i am looking for.
Lastly, please dont tell me it is done through trial and error, that would be the last thing i want to hear
