Alright so im doing a box in a 2008 F150 extended cab and we decided on putting the box behind the center console. the only obstacles in the back are the seats, thus why we are going to go with it stand in the center. i am wanting it tuned to about 29-30hz hes wanting more SQ.

so far i have this drawn up in sketch up. my main questions are for the wedge style should i put the port on the bottom facing forward or could i do the port being just the slot opening at the top? I havent designed any wedges before so work with me.

btw Massive doesnt really provide specs except for a ported box design.

their box is 1.23 cu ft tuned at 44hz... their manual specs are all ******* up.

is the area on the seat behind the enclosure going to be empty?

theres not a seat in it. theres no seats in the back but theres that small area. he doesnt want to put the sub behind the seats because he lays the seats back all the time... and it would hit.
its just behind the center console/ flip up seat. so its just that back wall behind the box

In my personal opinion, I would fire the sub downward like this photo. And port at the top of the angled section facing the seats.

Or maybe invert the sub on a box like this so it's firing into the box, and port at the bottom twords the rear under the seats

Ahh , is this a regular cab or extended cab? if regular cab, port at the very top.
Edit, I just read that it's an extended cab. Wow, I can't see how he has very little room behind the front seats, that dood must be a monster
