i own a HP pavilion 533w and was wondering if theres a way to hook it up to my tv or dvd/vcr and use that as a screen and also be able to use my surround sound...tryin to watch movie i downloaded and sound isn't loud enough :crap:

You can use HDMI, VGA, S Video, DVI, it depends on what connections your tv and computer has.

tv is old rca only hook up is a normal tv hook up vcr only has aux hookups but has hd hookups

tv brand is RCA, only has original tv hookups no Aux on tv, vcr has Aux and Hd aux

If and only if your video card supports the output and your TV accepts it. if you have DVI out on ur computer, just get a DVI--> component instead of VGA out

as for sound, use the audio out (green circle prob) 3.5mm output headphone jack and lpug that into your receiver. You're probobly going to want to use a
