Something with good sq @ a decent price.. just going into a honda accord so nothing top top of the line.
any suggestions on mids/comps/tweeters/amp...
I really know nothing about front stage so help would be appreciated.

Go active and hand pick your drivers through Madisound or the like. It will save you alot of money. :)

Go to walmart, buy headunit, speakers, and amps. then go to t3audio.com and pick your sub.

For beginner, just grab a pair of RSD6.5's until you start to acquire a specific taste of sound for those frequencies.
As for amp, headroom is always nice but depends on your budget. I have a really nice 2 channel I'll be selling soon, the Coustic 510-DR but I don't know when it'll be for sale.
Give us a budget and we can throw out some possibilities.
