Good mid and tweet combo?

Ive been looking for a good front stage and their is a **** ton of options out their. I was looking at the tempo 6's and they sound promising for the money. But I was also thinking about mixing and matching the components. I have a new sax125.2 but can buy another so i can run the mids and tweets alone. Do i need a crossover? Or can I just run them straight off the amp?

Any suggestions on combos?

you are going to need an active capable headunit if you don't use crossovers. some tweets come with inline crossovers to connect directly to the amp or hu. if you don't have the ability to go active just get a component set and call it a day. that way you only have to use one amp
