look in the build section to get some ideas of how it goes. maybe just use the re calculator. http://reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.html

ok, how important is it to keep within the space requirements and tuning specified by JL? i cant seem to get a combination of LxWxH that works to get the space right and also allows me to tune it to 30Hz as JL suggests without going to a .5 inch port width....

ok so a box thats ~1.25ft^3 your gona want ~ 20"^2 of port area... lmk if you need some help with a design bro... also check the free design thread... calculations somewhat off but not to bad. also look in to aero ports :) one 4" will be enough
