View Full Version : Can someone tell me the cu.ft. and what they're tuned to?

1st box specs. I'm going by the RE calc. But I believe it's off. So can someone use a more accuate one and tell me what's it's tuned to and how big it is? Thanks for helping me out.
Depth - 23.50"
Width - 29.50"
Height - 16"
Port width - 5"
Port length 1 - 18"
Port Length 2 - 10"

2nd box. This was my first box(got it for free so ain't complaining). I ran it in my car for over a year and I always wondered what it was tuned to....I believe it's around 2-2.4 cu.ft but not sure either.
Depth - 24"
Width - 12.50"
Height - 18"
Port width - 2"
Port Length - 20"

box # 1 5 ft3 or so after all displacements @34.33 hz i think?
box #2 idk bbp says 3.125 @ 7.197 hz lol that can't be right

Box # 1, came up with like....3.8 cu.ft and tuned to around 34~35 with the re calc...so...
Box 2......honestly, I believe it....lol.

are those the inside or out side dimensions of the box? also why do you have two different port lengths for the first box?

I measured them from the outside.
Port 1 and Port 2 make up the L shaped port.....don't know how to put it in words.
Just go to the RE calc, it says port length 1 and 2. That'll solve your question.
