if your going with a plexi front go with some subs that have better looking basket and motor.

I like the way the baskets and motors look on the re xxx and the fi btls

Edit: Very nice box but it looks alittle small for 3 9500

use regular glass cut to fit i found a site that has it up to 3/4 of an inch and cheap too you can get cut to fit aswell.

If they are 12's, 6ft^3 is fine, especially since they're sharing the same air space.

i just built box for audioque HDC315 with pretty good size magnet, and the guy wanted window. I used a piece of 1/2" thick lexan, it doesnt flex or anything and turned out pretty good for first time I have tried that. I put a white neon tube inside box and it looks really good at night. I will post some pics

he is running 4 cubes after sub and port tuned to 40hz. He wanted to keep half his back seat in quad cab dakota, so the box is sitting right behind driver seat.

Box looks clean so far. Should slam pretty good. Get a good deal on those 9500s? Make sure you throw some vids up when its done.

People jump on the brotha as soon as he says hes not running Fi, AQ, Re.

ya i really like how its turned out so far. the back side of the box has my 3 batteries and amp for the comp system. then the amps are going to be up on top lifted above the subs. i think i got a pretty good deal on the subs. $350 for each.

you can get away with 3/4 but i would use tnuts, weather stripping and counter sink the screws to fit, ps - buy a plexi bit -it is night and day to drill.

thats a huge window.. you will need to paint the whole interior with it that damned big you doing a beauty panel over the plexi? it looks a lot better when you can't see the screw holes and with that big of a piece you will need a LOT of screws

3/4" plexi/lexan is prob the minimum. And use bolts like every 2" or so to prevent air leaks. At the same time, use T-nuts. or something similar and strong. That box looks good.

You would want polycarbonate (same as lexan). It is stronger than plexiglass.

Find it here or search online for cheaper:

ya theres gonna be a panel covering the screws. and the inside is painted. i used textured paint to match the pillars between my windows in the jeep
