alright guys i have a ported box that is 4 feet long 13 inches deep & 17.5 inches tall that dosent fit in my malibu unless the sub is in the trunk and port is in the back seat with the seat down. my question is if i got a better box like a 3.5 cu ported at like 32 hz would it sound better than the box i have right know. i dont know much about car audio that could be the wrong size box and wrong tuning any help to make my sub pound to its max potential would help out tremendously, thanks.
o yea setup is the one in signature

You would absolutely gain by putting a different box in there.

so i geuss what im asking is would a 3.5 cu tuned at 32 hz (http://img30.imageshack.us/my.php?image=35cubes32hz5425sqin5gq.png) if that would be ideal for my situation or would i want a lower tuning, or like a bigger box. thanks

lol if any of us knew that we'd all be rich
find the resonance freq of your vehicle then work from there
just cuz a box cost allot don't mean its right for your car ask around
