Its a necessity when you want to hear words when playing music in the upper 150s.

I got 16 Selenium ST350s.

for 2 15"s on 4k i would imagine some bullets might be overkill? then again i have never played with them

Audiopipe makes a 6" bullet tweeter. The magnet barely fits in the palm of your hand.

What mids/highs setup is he looking for in his car?

hes wanting 2 15s on 4kw...

thats exactly the subs and power i had when i had my wall, and thats when i had a set of PA NX-5 bullets and they weren't too harsh playing music around 150db. I had 4 Dayton PA speakers and the 2 bullet tweets and everything sounded good, the mids and highs could still be heard when the bass was up.

I would recommend OFFFFF-axis. i tried the bullet's on-axis in my kicks, that was a huge no-no. sounded like *** in my truck.

bullets are fine, but if you're getting them just to keep up with your subs..

loud tweet + loud bass is a waste without the midrange to support it.

These are what im thinking of getting.........

http://www.woofersetc.com/p7775/SST22--Soundstream-175"-Pro-Series-Tweeters.htm

OR

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=21621

I'm just looking for something to REALLY bring out the highs in songs. They have to be able to take 50-75 RMS of clean power also. If anyone has any other recommendations please lemme know, I'm not 100% set on bullet tweets. Just anything that is kind of smooth but still screams in the 3KHz-20KHz range. I don't want anything really harsh

Thanks,
Ryan :D

you don't want my advice, i spent over 2k on ST350 seleniums very recently.. got 48 of them.. then sold them all, got 16 nx-5 bullet tweets.. ( cheap and decent ).. now i'm going with something else.. lol

for the cheap.. get some apt-80 eminencer ones.. like 27-28 per .. otherwise your call.

Well, it's not the high end but if you predominately play rap music, you don't need high end.

their rack amps are a peice of ****, stick to behringer or dayton for the cheapz. The pro audio woofers and mids are decent. All their car audio **** ***** obviously. Pyle/pyarmid have their own build houses, anctually i think they are the same, wouldnt surprise me if they made pro audio woofers for some of the bigger names too.

Give these a shot. They play about 400hz and up, and get NASTY loud. Pair it with a nice 8, 10, or 12 and youre set.

Yeah, you gotta love highs that are absolute overkill. This is an Excursion that was done by a shop down here by me in FL. Its 13,000 watts of Selenium. Only 800 of that is for bass. And yes, there IS a stipper pole coming through a hole in the roof.

Nothing gets a crowd like a rolling concert.

It all really depends on what kind of stuff youre running.

If you run 2 6.5s and 8 tweeters, its going to sound horrible. If you run 16 6.5s and 2 tweeters, its going to sound just as bad. If you run nice tweeters with crappy mids, its going to sound bad. Etc, etc.

The reason why so many BIG pro audio setups sound bad is because they are so hard to get right.

When youre running 4 6.5" comp sets in a car you set the gain, then play with settings for a few minutes and it sounds great.

In a car with 30+ mids/highs on 4+ amplifiers, settings the amps and EQing it to sound right is a nightmare. Its doable, but it takes FOREVER.
