looking for sub amp

im looking for a hometheater sub amp to push about 1000-1500 wattsrms. i want something decent but not to expensive, any recomendations? my friend wants to start djing and he need an amp. he has 2 pv 18's or something.

For rack amps go with QSC or Crown. If you are going to start DJ'ing you do NOT want to have an amp randomly die on you due to sub-par manufacturing/design.
