I have a pioneer deh-p9300, it's seen better days (it doesn't eject cd's anymore). I'm going to try and repair it myself, (I have a pretty good idea what I need to do), but if it goes badly, what is the modern equivalent of the deh-p9300? Is it whatever the latest top of the line Pioneer head unit is?

IMO they don't make 'em like they used to, as far as cosmetics go. If you don't want the new age features, get it repaired. If not I'll pay for shipping if you wanna send it my way ;)

I have a Pioneer Premier DEH P920r of that era...those decks are built like tanks compared to the new crap out there

Looks like I'm paying for the repairs then!

I may bid on a few broken ones on ebay and cannibalize them for parts!

I was high bidder on a busted 9300 (faceplate didn't work), but I accidentally forgot to check bids before it ended and I lost the auction for WAAAY below what my max price was. Still pissed.
