im looking at getting the ES-07 but it doesn't like large sealed boxes.. my doors **** balls, the doors are too big for any mids, and building a panel i can't get enought air space to get an idea FR... i really would like the es-07s, but i just don't see them doing excellent in the doors, even if i fill them a bit deadened them and build a small mounting flange...
im going to take my door panels off fill the bottom of the doors with some cotton/glass and deaden the inside and outside where the new wood panel meets the sheet metal...

my amp is a Sax100.4 so they should be efficient... also i plan to cross the over around 4k so midrange and high frequency extention is a MUST, also i want so serious midbass. nothing like the ES-06 that has to be crossed @ 2500 or so..

any suggestions would be sweet...

well i lookeds around, and there are a few drivers but there so limited on parameters.. the Helix RS806s are nice, but they don't list xmax.. i need soemthing thats going to be strong down to 70 in my doors, but that doesn't lack midrange detail... i think im going to dampen the hell out the doors and just get the ES-07.. i can get them for like 200 if i send my POS CL FG mids in...
