Trying to figure out a way to squeeze 3 18's in my truck while still keeping a proper box.
How many Aero's should i be using per 18" sub? I did a search and keep getting mixed thoughts. Some are saying 4 6" aeros per sub, others are saying 2.....
Ideally, (7) 6" aero's would fit perfectly, but i can squeeze in 8 with some modifications.
Will eight 6" Aero's be enough for three 18's?

Port area is determined by how much air will be displaced so its hard to say without knowing the driver, power, and enclosure. Generally though, 2 6" aeros per 18 should be enough. I only have 4 4"ers for my Q.

Yeah i am aware of the tidbits that go into port calculation. im just trying to get a general rule o thumb. I dont have sub parameters or anything yet so its hard to say on my part, but i've never used aeroports before, so any info would be a huge help.

What Lakota is saying is you'll be fine with 2 per sub or 6 6" ports total.

yeah i know, im just being a ******** ;)
thanks guys
6 aeros in your setup will be perfect, you don't need 7 unless you REALLY want to, but won't be much benefit if at all. My rule of thumb is 2 per 18" too. Always worked great for me.
