Bought this a while back(not sure if the mix is expired, but it is still sealed), used it once and never used it again. I get cases of beer for $3-5 each now so no need to brew my own anymore.
You can buy the beer mixes for it at numerous places. Comes with the original box, manual, 1 beer mix, unused bottle caps and the fermenter.

$15 shipped without the beer mix
$20 shipped with it(due to added weight)

you mix all the stuff up with hot water and put it in a cabinet for about a week, pour it into bottles(i used 20oz watter bottles), chill it and its ready
it makes 2 gallons i think
very basic and pretty interesting to say you brewed your own, but it obviously doesnt compare to the options you get by spending $100-200+ on a kit
still drinkable and gave me a buzz though;)

i was a draught line tech for bud and coors for years, but the easiest way i can think of is to get a part time job as a drivers helper or mechandiser at your local distributer
not all distributors sell to employees though so make sure they do before you commit
my local budweiser doesn't but coors does. i get $5 30 packs of keystone, $5 cases of coors light and $10 cases of imports and specialty (mikes, smirnoff, guinness, heiny, etc)
