re mx 15" and this design

So hey ppl check this box i design real quick for my truck. ford ranger to be exact.... but below is a screen shot the box. the specs on the box are:

3.519ft^3 @ 32hz with 97.5"^2 of port. it will have 2.5" of clearance from the back wall and the motor. It will see about 1200-1400 daily. how will this sound????

to much port? tuning to low? never done anything with this driver im a mx virgin. thanks guys! oh yeah here's some design **** :D

It would have to be 58.5" by my calculations.

You don't need that much port area. Does 3.51 cubes
account for the woofer displacement?

with all do respect how did you calculate good sir? so a 4" wide port would suffice then that's 65"^2 of port.

and thats 3.5 after ALL DISPLACEMENT! also before port it is 5.8ft^3 sealed

im sorry for the confusion bro that design has a port that measure 6x16.25 which is 97.5in^2 in the post i said maybee bringing the area down by just using a 4" wide port instead of 6 which would then make it 65in^2 of port. now how did you figure i need 56 or sumthn like that. what formula did you use?

There's no formula, it's formula's. And it's very complicated.

That's why I use WinISD, it calculates everything for you.

4x16.25" is 65"^2, that port will have to be 48.5" deep and
will itself displace approximately 2 cubic feet. That port area
is fine. And the woofer should be perfectly happy in that box.
A little more airspace would be nice.
