can someone please help me.. i need a box.. i can build it myself, but coming up with the size is makin it hard.. im running 2 kicker cvr12's with a crunch powerzone P1100.2 amp. (not the greatest amp i know. its temporary) im lookin to keep it in the trunk, the biggest it can be is 38x 16x 24. i beleive its 24, atleast.. with this size is it better to go sealed? any real advice would help.. im out of time im leaving for a trip on the weekend and want it built by tomorrow night, help please!

you have plenty of space for a nice large ported box. if you want a box design I can sell you one for $5

i didnt design this one, it was in the construction help thread, however, if you want one custom made more too the specs of your woofers then just spend the 5 dollars.

plenty of room, its prolly a little to big but after displacements and what not you should be ok.

Im not a box designer or anything, however, I do believe you would be alright.

uh, you can tell how the wood is mounted in that pic. the inside of the box, (port walls) sits ontop of the bottom and the top of the box sits on top of the port walls.

If that makes sense,,,,,,

Cant really explain it any better.

well yes the design u sent was very clear.. i was just asking as a general question cause ive seen some that didnt look like the port was even near mounting to the top and bottom.

many different ways to port a box, especially when u get into aeroports and kerfed ports. my box is ported and u can't even see where the ports are
