you'll need about 25 sq ft per door to do it right.....

Remove the door panel and take off all the extra **** on the door

Leave only metal and wiring.

hose down with brake cleaner

Clean off surface

Get your deadner

Cut down to smaller pieces and deaded the inside layer first, then the outside.

You don't have to do the whole door, focus on where the speaker is.

Press into with hands/ roller and other tools firmly to make sure the contact is a solid one.

You don't want to have to redo it later.

You will need 15-25 sq feet per door

How many layers will 25 sq ft. do on one door? How necessary is it to deaden the inside of the outside part of the door???

The more the better! Your speakers will have a solid base and structure to be mounted to. The more solid the base and environment that speaker is in, the less energy will be wasted on resonance and unnecessary vibration. All that vibration lost in your door skins is wasted sound. Overkill it!
