I just got a set of Type S coaxials from him. And he shipped them fast, and that appreciated. The only problem is the picture he sent, and the speakers I received are different. Different in that these have cracked cones, and look like someone took an ink pen and scribbled on them. I don't have my digital camera with me, at work and my phone is at the bottom of the lake, but I'll post a pic of the pic he sent and the pic as I received them.

Now normally I would keep this to a pm, he insuniated that I did the ink marks and I cracked the cones. Or in his own words "If your gonna be a little ***** about it why don't you post prrof that these were like this upon receipt, not after you fcked them up.".

So not only is he dishonest he's also a tough guy.

I told them they were not perfect and had a few scratches on the cones. He now contacts me and says that the speakers are ruined and both cones are cracked and there is ink all over both of them. (without pictures mind you), claiming I took these pictures a long time ago or whatever (even though he said he didn't need pics with date when I offered), I made a whopping 17 BUCKS on this deal, like I am really going to scam someone for 17 bucks.

Just don't deal with this guy

I think I just said I didn't send you a pic cause I don't have a camera handy. Maybe I'm naive, and expect a little honesty. Had I known you'd be dishonest I would have brought my camera, or jumped in after my phone when I was fishing this morning.

What you made on the sale is irrelevant to the topic, that's not my problem. I didn't set your price.

I'll be more then happy to take pictures when I get home.

And Zach feel free to contact any of the sellers in my signature, and I feel 100% confident they'll vouch for me. I guess If I was going scam a seller it be on a 35.00set of speakers not a 200.00 amp. Makes perfect sense.

If you are going to scam someone why wouldn't you go big rather than for a measly 17 dollars

It was 35.00, and I have no idea why you'd do that. And quite honestly it wouldn't have been as big a deal if you hadn't acted like a guilty little scammer. I'll post the pic tomorrow morning, or tonight depending on how the baby is doing.

Every one of these above posts is USELESS until a picture is shown of what came in the mail. It would be best to get some comparison because the pic above shows speakers in good condition. Minor scratches and scuffs =/= ink all over them and ruined speakers.

That's only what I can tell from the above. I don't even see a crack yet.

you did say there was a crack in the speakers right?? show us in the provided pics

stangman67

I am not acting like a scammer, I am defending myself, I do not want to get the scammer name especially since when I shipped those speakers they were in the exact prescribed condition I said they were and that they were in the pics

It's not in the provided pics, I will take pics when I get home. There are blemishes in the pics, and I didn't mind wear and tear. I just ask that if you put something for sale be truthful about it.

Pics as promised

Here you can see the split and the scribble (this is the speaker pictured on the left in his photo)

closer look at the split in the cone

The other speaker. Hard to get a get picture cause these are reflective, but you see a ink line at the top of the cone, and on the right. And a small imperfection on the right that showed up on his photo.

Gentlemen of the jury I rest my case. Make note that I notified the second I cracked open the box.

That is simply not how I sent them out. The speakers had no cracks and certainly no ink, I don't write on my speakers, I have pics with the date and time in the properties that prove when I took them. Either way I don't want to be labeled as a scammer so I will fix this.

Couple of Questions here.

How did the package arrive to you? Did it look like it was tampered with? Are the baskets bent. How did the box look.

How do you know those are pen marks? Those cones when scratched leave marks that look like pen markings but infact are not.

I have delt with Zack in person. Was on time and very polite.

We need more information.

How was this sent, Was there insurance?

Came by USPS in a small box. It didn't look tampered. Baskets are fine. Average packaging. A little bubble wrap, and some grocery bags. Not 100% sure it's ink, it could be magnet rub from the other speaker cause the were not wrapped separately. Not sure about the insurance.

To answer your question Jeremy, the speakers WERE wrapped separately in plastic shopping bags (Free packing materials FTW) and then bubble wrap was between each speaker and all around the outside of the package. No insurance, didn't figure I would need it. The speakers were not cracked or marked in really any way, which can obviously be seen in my pictures. Either the OP is trying to pull a fast one or USPS was very rough with the package. I am going to end up losing money on this deal :crap:

97srad will have to do that one, I didn't take any pics of the box before I closed it. Either way it is going to get resolved though. It is just quite irritating that the speakers got that messed up between when I shipped them to now and I will end up losing money over it. They were pretty nice little speakers to boot.

Really for me the irritating thing is when I bring it to the attention of the seller his reaction is to call me a *****, and say that I damaged them. My guess is it was USPS. Had you not acted like that I wouldn't have made this thread.

Ok this has been taken care of. My bad on calling names, this was the straw that broke the camels back :( I am now going to call USPS and have a friendly conversation with them

We've officially made up, but I didn't let him kiss and make up. Just a hand shake.

I take it back, he can be trusted. I don't know how to delete this thread.
