If you're looking for a gaming laptop, this isn't the one for you. However, if you want a solid basic laptop for surfing and such, this may be just you're looking for. This is a Dell Latitude C600 with a 14.1" screen. I bought a couple of these recently and rebuilt them, in fact I'm using the one I built for myself right now.

The one I'm selling has a brand new genuine Dell motherboard (just installed last week), a 1ghz P3m processor (the fastest processor used in the C600), a new internal wireless-G card, 256mb ram (upgradable to 512), new hi-cap aftermarket battery, etc. It also includes a swappable CD drive and floppy drive, or you can use a second battery (not included) in place of that. The housing has the usual scratches on it (no cracks), and the LCD has a few small pressure marks and a keyboard rub. It has a 30gb hard drive with a fresh install of XP Pro.

This laptop has no guarantee other than it won't arrive DOA. However, considering what I've put into it, this should serve you sell for a long time. The price? $220 shipped CONUS via UPS ground, fully insured. PM if you're interested.

I'll do $175 shipped CONUS via UPS ground.

Just to clarify things a bit: The motherboard, battery, and wireless card for this laptop were just installed within the last two weeks, and they were all brand new. I put this one together to be the backup to my identical C600, and I didn't cut corners on anything I replaced. I now have a few more laptops to fix, which is the only reason this one is up for sale. This is the kind of laptop you can use every day without having to worry about scratching it up.
