i'm want to use liquid nails so drilling is to a minimum. do u think that it will be airtight? if u guys don't think this will be good enough then i could buy mdf but its like 30 bucks a sheet so, and i need just a bit more then a sheet so. i'm building this in shop class so i'll have a guy that knows how to use wood.

MDF = Medium Density Fiberboard ...

Oh ****, High Density Particle Board, I thought that said High Density Fiberboard :p

3/4" HDPB is equal to 11/16" MDF (Slightly less rigid than 3/4" MDF) ...

so about 600 watts would be too much. well i can get mdf 4x8 sheet for 25 bucks so i might just get that. its just that i needed just a lil more than a 4x8 sheet so i guess i'll make the port outta plywood. OK or not OK??
