Not sure how well I stated the title :crap:

My AQ now is forward firing, and the ports fire up.

For the 2 18"s, I have enough depth to fire both subs up because I took the backseat out. Would I have an advantage to fire subs and port up if I am able to? The roof will have 2 layers of Damplifier pro :fyi:

Not sure the exact terms, but it seems to me that it will reflect the sound off of the roof (loading?).

That would be somewhat difficult to do, I really just want to keep it between those 2 options. With the space I have, the box is going to have to be as wide as possible, therefore the port will really have no room.

iam running a 1508 in my ext cab s-10 with both the sub and port up and it seem to be quite louder that way than with them firing foward.
