This is my most recent sub enclosure, I designed and painted it. Looks way better in person too. Tell me what you guys think of it. Thanks.

Thanks guys, this enclosure actually was my first sealed one. All the other ones I made before this were ported.

Are there any suggestions on making a sub enclosure look better then this with paint? Just want to try other options.

what kind of sanding did you do? What kind of painting did that require? (primer/layers/ etc.)

This took me 3 days, because of the paint. It dries in 8 hours so I just left it overnight on every coat. 3 coats of the black paint were used. I didn't sand it that much, just to smooth out the seams. And I didn't use any primer, only 3 coats of black and a clear coat.
I want to start making enclosures to sell for people in my city. But where I live there ain't many people into car audio. So I just make different enclosures for myself.
I may make a new amp rack as well. Try to paint it almost like this but different. Heres the old amp rack I made.

what you guys think of this new ported one? Its pitch black outside I thought the camera flash did pretty well. Didn't wipe all the dust off the box yet.

Yeah I know, this paint takes 8 hours to dry so it *****. I usually put 3 coats on. Then a clear coat. And use wood filler for the screw holes. The fleckstone paint dries extremely fast though. Like 30 minutes to an hour. Probably do my amp rack next.
