Anyone ever done this? I'm thinking about doing it and I'd like to know the adv. and disadv. of it.. Hoping someone here has some personal experience

good luck. the way my trunk is set up its dang near impossible to do i/b

Nearly impossible to seal off the trunk to do an IB.
From looking at my Eclipse Spyder the best bet looks like a small sealed box with a pair of 8's or 10's if I want to still have any trunk space left over.
(The 10's would probably be tricky, requiring a small Isobaric sealed box......which is what Im planning on using.)

downfiring works best from what i have done in a drop top...
