is some cheap brand 18 gauge okay for a ~15 foot run from the amp to the crossovers? And then for the crossovers to the tweeters and woofers?
I have a ton of 18 gauge speaker wire(2 runs connected to each other) and I have 50 feet of 14 gauge power wire (just one run of wire).
Is it a good idea to run the 18 gauge from my amp to the x-overs and the 14 gauge from the x-overs to the tweeters/woofers?

depends on how much power. I have 16 gauge ran to my quarts with 85 watts.

and then the 18 to the mid and tweet?

mostly because I would need two runs of the 14 gauge per side, it is like power wire.
I think I will just run the crap off-brand 18 gauge to the x-overs, then use the 14 gauge from there to the woofs/tweets.
I just wanted to make sure that 18 gauge over the length of the car wont be a problem.

i don't run anything less than 16ga. personally, but i doubt you'll notice the diff between 16g and 18ga.
