I use regular 3 inch deck screws and construction adhesive. no problems so far. :)

just finished building it using 1 5/8 exterior grade screws and loctite power grab.

at least 1 1/2". make sure you pre-drill to keep the mdf from splitting. happens real easily if you use 1 1/2"-2" screws if you dont pre-drill your holes.

1 5/8 drywall or deck and Titebond or Loctite works best for me. Liquid nails *****, just to add.

1 5/8" coarse drywall screws predrilled 1 1/2" to prevent splitting.
Tite Bond for the glue.
This is for 3/4"MDF.
For fiberglass to mdf I use 1 1/2" coarse drywall screws, predrilled 1 1/2".
Liquid Nails for the fiberglass to mdf parts, Tite Bond for MDF to MDF.
Don't use Liquid Nails on an all MDF box, I ONLY use it to attach fiberglass to MDF.
