I hear the audioque 6.5 components are decent for the price, they are 199 i believe.
I personally have never heard them but i haven't heard anything bad really from the members here. . .

I run ol skool PG Xenon 6.5's. 150rms If you can find them they avg. about 150 a set. Great sound.

Why not go active? you can buy drivers and tweeter seperately, save money on the crossovers since you would not need them, and its really not all that difficult. Also it would sound much better.
