for a port? cut the holes small enough so you pretty much have to hammer the pvc in and silicone around it on the inside

Liquid Nail, JB Weld, Epoxy or definately screws. Predrill the holes and counter sink them so they are flush, then, if you like, you can fill the holes with bondo or something and paint it.

I use a grill with a lip on it, cut out the part to the grill, and whamo, you've got a port the attach to the outside, let me see if i can find a pic.

hey you can flare the pvc if you want! get a torch and a bowl! heat that bish up smash it in the bowl and viola flared ends! now you can drill holes into the flared part and screw it into your box!

i have been doing it like that for 10 years, thats how i always did it. Just use silicone to make sure it seals as silicone isnt actuclly 'glue'. I draw a circle around the pvc and cut it with a jig saw. Cut on the inside of the line and if its too small just sand around till it fits real tight.

i did pvc once... 3 RE SE 12" tuned to 32 hz...

it bumped once and 2 ports came lose... ... box thrown away...

box had so much sealant and glue in it that it changed the displacement

PL-400 is one of the best adhesives I've ever used.

wood glue will do the job, pretty goos actually, but i never just glue the pvc ports in and leave it at that. I always brace them on the inside as well.
