I was thinking about Seas Neo Aluminum (http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=633) and Blaupunkt VC100s (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6704_Blaupunkt+Vc100.html), which I would get used. The odd situation I have is that my tweets will be mounted next to my ID OEM's on my door panel's, almost like a plate speaker. Which of these tweeters will serve me better in this situation, or suggest some others. I am looking for SQ, and can offer ~100rms from an ED nine.2

What about on/off axis stuff? Is that possible with them in door panel's?

Is there an advantage over the larger tweets like the ones in bang's pic vs. smaller tweets (like 1 inch)?

Once you have a 12" driver, I don't think you can ever go back.

Both of those are very nice choices and would work well. I have a slight preference with the VC100s because they sound great and can be had for less money (im a cheap skate :) ) than alot of other tweeters out there, assuming you can find them.

You generally with the ID oems want something that you can crossover a little lower like around 2500hz or so and your golden.
