Tomorrow I will open up a dispute and then proceed to file a claim with paypal

to get my money back. I will close the dispute if I hear from you and officially

Keep his response in mind...Im under the impression that he has already out

the amp..and paypal did a chargeback (I didn't even file for a claim yet..its still

in the minor dispute level which can be resolved).

Well I can't get a chargeback unless I file a claim which I

haven't done so yet. I still have a couple days left to file a claim. I just check

the dispute and it says that it is still open. This means that paypal leaves it

between me and you to resolve the issue and within 20 days if it is not

resolved, then they will jump in(once I file the claim). After the claim is

reviewed by paypal, then they will give me a refund. Therefore, a chargeback

shouldn't happen yet. Double check the paypal because mine doesnt say

anything about me getting me money back yet.

Also, the amp is the last leg of my install...everything is just sitting here

awaiting its arrival. I figure it would have been here by now...you don't

remember the date you sent it out?

Sorry for the long compilation..but if you read through it all...his arguement

Just get your money back from Paypal by filing a claim. 2 weeks is my limit I wait before filing a claim if I don't get a tracking number or my item. And if you file a claim and you do receive the item, you can just drop the claim and no harm done to the seller.

Thanks for the replies...only reason I waited so long for this transaction was that most my equip was still on order. I didn't need the amp right away so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. But now since most my gear is home..with no amp, I decided to file the claim since the douche wouldn't refund me (kept saying paypal already chargeback...unless paypal holds the money once I file a dispute..then gives it to the right party once the dispute/claim is over. But i figure paypal would only take money out after they decide the results of a claim)

With the amount of money paypal generates and how they advertise the **** outta how safe it is to use their service it seems they would have some sort of guarantee for buyers that if a problem arises paypal will cover the losses. Or at the very least require a credit card be on file to use as backup method of refunding.
