My dual ED K12.14 box is gonna have a front panel made of clear acrylic. I planned on using a 16" x 40" panel of 3/4" acrylic to made the 'window wall', but its gonna end out costing $106. YIKES!!!! I also priced out 1/2" acrylic and for the same panel size it was a more reasonable $61. The panel will be braced vertically down the center of the box by the wall that seperates the 2 chambers of the box. Would 1/2" acrylic work for this, or will it flex really bad? I need to know soon so I can order the panel and my 2 custom clear acrylic speaker grills. Thanks guys!!!! :D

I'm gonna be runnin 325 watts RMS to each sub. I noticed on gatelyaudio.com that he sells boxes for dual 12" Kicker L7's that are entirely made of 1/2" acrylic. So would one 1/2" acrylic panel on my box really make a difference?

Good old TAP plastics. Its just too bad I couldn't get 3" I.D. clear acrylic tubing there for the port. So I went ahead and got some 3" PVC at Home Depot.
