reason i said cheap is becuase the avh 4000dvd double din its like 350 shipped on ebay brand new, my friend just got one and its a ****** HU for that price, but i cant fit a double din or i'd run that one for sure

i think im just gonna order this
i think itll fit with a tad bit of trimming height wise? the stock HU is larger than a single DIN, but smaller than a double DIN
The dual one isn't too terribly bad.

it would be a pain in the *** to fit a double din in one of those, it has a din and 1/2, but you could, seen it done with lots of work, fiberglass involved of course

do not know about the ipod controls but a kenwood Excelon KDC-X592 is a steal for 139 on line. 24 bit DAC and it is the best sub 200 dollar deck I can recall. Not a ton of features but nice and simple. Ill probably be using this in my truck when I move my sony to my new car.
WHat about this?
$300 shipped on eGay
