I got my calculations from the 12volt.com. If anyone can double check these I would appreciate it.
Box
W=29
H=11.75
D=10
Port
W=1.6
H=10.25
D=23

I came up with roughly 1 cube tuned to 40hz

port displaces .218cube + wood thickness
so depending on your wood, it is ~1.7cubes after sub and port
working on the tune

According to the 12volt.com without port displacement or woofer displacement I am at 1.38 cubes.
10 X 29 X 11.75

According to the 12volt.com without port displacement or woofer displacement I am at 1.38 cubes.
10 X 29 X 11.75
multiply those three numbers together
3 407.5 (cubic inches) = 1.97193287 cubic feet
then it all depends on wood thickness

if your using 3/4" mdf and 29x11.75x10 are your external dimensions, then i calculated 1.0159 after port and sub displacement
sounds right

That is what I got roughly and I used .75 MDF.

It is a 8 inch sub and it is exactly what DD recommends. Most places would suggest a 3 inch aeroport which would still work fine for daily driving. 30 inches for an 8 inch sub would be like almost having 3 4 inch aeroports which would be a bit overkill. Bro
