Alrighty,

Well Pioneer~Saturn is gonna build me a sick sealed box for my 2 havoc 12's (Dual 1 ohm :)) with his amazing craftmanship so I'm pretty stoked :)

He was originally going to do about 2.5 cuft sealed, but we decided to take it down to 1.04 per sub.

Is this alright? I just saw a guy doing a sealed box for 4 of them with 10 cu ft total.. That's like 2.5 per sub, but I saw on AA.com where they should be between .6-1.2 cu ft per.. Should my box be a bit bigger?

Depends on what you want.

Designing a box around the center of the recommended specs will normally yield a flatter response curve, and overall smoother response.

I need as much output as possible without damaging the subwoofers because of too big of a sealed box..

Because I listen to a LOT of metal and from my experience with sealed it's just much punchier on quick kick drum hits and such

That size sounds fine. You can play with stuffing it and see what sounds best to you. Stuffing will create an effect of a slightly larger enclosure which will could possibly increase low end output.
