What is a snailshell box and how do you build one, one of my friends told me about one, and im curious, he said they have unbelievable output for small subs

So is it quarter wave? It seems that on termpro that there is no "real" info. Every thread some one brings up on there turns into a flame war about tl boxes.

Nope....not a horn....not a tl....not anything at all really. The closest thing its been compared to is a DBR box. It really is just a multi chambered box with mutliple tunings.

does anyone know what kind of box the guy with the 146 db 6 1/2 audiobahns uses???
ive been lookin at a different style boxes and ive been seein what there all good at
im not sure about like an ABC box and stuff like that
