Finally got everything in and playing. Got my batts, HO alt and new amp. I did have the box in a long time ago just not the rest of the stuff. BTW, this is setup temporarily untill I build another box. I just wanted to see how this massive port would perform. Without further ado, on to the pics....

I'll try and get some videos up soon. Neighbors don't really care for it, though. It's extremely brutal playing Gorilla Zoe-Juice Box and Air Forces and surprisingly sweeps a lot of air.

that is a rediculously large port.

Take some vids of the songs you mentioned.

Numbers? And what is it tuned to?

It's basically the same as having 3-6'' ports.

Ha, no TL's within MILES. Not too concerned about numbers although it would be neet to see. On paper, the box is 5.5 cubes tuned to 40 but now that it's in the Jeep, I think the frequency went down a bit. It's playing a lot louder and lower than I thought it would. BTW, the amp is a Powerbass XA3000D @ .5 ohm

Did you build that from a stack of rings? I wonder if there might have been an easier way to make a 10" tube. Although it is pretty sick. :D

there is its called heat up pvc. way easier to do you can make a form then make many ports off it.

Can't help but ask, whatcha gonna do with all the wasted wood from the rings? Make smaller ports? :)

I actually thought about making a couple of 6" flared ones with the leftover wood but just don't have the time and it's kind of expensive to do with all the bondo glass and all. Maybe another day.

Should have done them on the driver side. They would have been longer/better but I was in a rush so I could escape the wrath of my neighbors.
