The rule of thumb i have used to make ported enclosures has been 16 sq inches of port per cuft. but this has also been for spl subs that are using a higher tuning. i am currently going to be running two RE SE 12s, and wish to tune down to 33-35 hz. Could anyone with experience with these subwoofers inform me on port areas they have used? help is appreciated.
thanks in advance
Dustin

They like 2.0 cu ft at 33hz....I'd go a single 6" aeroport per sub for them you should be fine

yeah a 30" long aero port would be cool....
im sure you know the general rule of thumb is 12-16 square inches for slot ports, so i dont see why it wouldnt apply for an RE SE

I'm sure anywhere between 12-16 sq in. per cubic foot should be fine.
