Im looking for some good components that will get very loud and sound decent for around 150. Im sure there are about 400 threads like this, sorry for adding another one. If you can post a link that would be great. I dont really care what brand, i will give them around 100rms each. Thanks!!!

I would prefer 5.25's. But i can make a bracket or something for 6.5's if i must

You'll get more performance out of a 6.5". You will be much happier. Look into the ARC KS line of speakers for less than your budget or the FD line for a bit more than your budget :).

The infinity Kappas 60.9 are great speakers, make sure you have enough power pushing them though or they will sound harsh as a lot of people complain. I would not put anything else on the amp with the components so that you can get the best possible sound. If you power them correctly, they will fill and pressurize your whole car with sound. I was curious how the infinity perfects would sound after I broke the kappas in so I ordered them for $189 and they are schedualed to arrive on the 15th. I can't wait!

This seems to be a popular budget speaker setup at $179. Here's a link:

FYI, you can also buy them direct for the same price at:

I was VERY close to picking these up but spent a little more on a supposedly better set (250 for Morels). Being that I've actually heard neither, I probably would have been plenty happy with the IDs.
