The Accu-Rip allows the user of a right-hand blade circular saw to make straight accurate rip cuts, without the use of measuring tape or chalk line.
The Accu-Rip quickly attaches to the front of the base plate of a circular saw. The user can then adjust the sliding guide to desired cut widths from 1/16 to 24 in. The Accu-Rip does not have to be removed from the saw when making crosscuts. The level of skill to use the Accu-Rip is low. Lightweight and portable.

What you do is attach you circular saw to it slide the ajustment to how wide you want the cut if you want a peice of wood 6 in long set it at 6 in if 10 then set at 10 24 set at 24 ect then the edge of the guide rides down the edge of the wood and your saw cuts the width right where you want it
here are the discription from craftsman

if they are not square you are right but if they are a lil wavy it will be straight becouse it was a wide enough guide
