looking for a 6.5 component set for around $200-250. preferbly silk tweeters. like the lower rainbows,but dont think woofersetc is where i should buy from. where can i get rainbows? are the lower lines nice? other brand suggestions?

Check out the DLS UP6i's they have a silk tweeter, handle loads of power and have a small neodymium magnet on the mids so they fit in many stock locations.
Im thinking of selling mine if your interested.

Go active with peerless exclusive 7's and SEAS 27TFFNC (keep in mind the mid is 8 ohm).

Bump up your budget by another 60 bucks or so and you will open a lot of doors.
I personally like CDT as a budget comp set, although many do not. I do find, however, that they lack in midbass.
Contact 6spdcoupe for Rainbows. The SLC 265NG's are nice.

try dls comps....i have ms6a and the sound is amazing..this price is around around for your budget $225..

CDT's are a decent set but as has been mentioned, i have, and you will find that the comparable rainbow lines are beefier on the low end of the frequency scale.
