Theres alot of u ways u could but it would be pretty hard to not let air threw and not look ghetto. I can tell you how to permanently plug one but thats prolly not what u want.

I personally like the sliding port idea better. To me it's easier to adjust the length of a single port. As opposed to blocking or plugging one. But it's personal opinion. . What you use to plug a port depends on the shape of the port. :)

well if its a pvc port then i'm pretty sure they make plugs for them. i'd say wrap a bunch of weatherstripping around it and shove her in.

If it's pvc I would just get the sewer version with the threads on the inside at the end. That way you could just screw the cap on the port. :)

That's why you round the port edges on the inside of the box. :)

I'm not usin PVC piping. I am going to plug a rectangular port that is 7"x2". I have been told that if I am good with the saw I should just cut a 7x2 piece of wood and plug it with silicone. Will that work? Any other ideas, it can look ghetto if it has to(but preferably not).

I would use rubber weather stripping. It will hold up alot longer than a bead of silicon. :)

haha...nice, but it's more like 25% beer.

Alright, we'll see how this turns out

It is about 25% until you get to glassin'. Then the fumes take over and you can only handle about 5% :D :)
