View Full Version : Box design help for S10L7
Hi
I may get my hands on the above sub. I wanna use a sealed enclosure that will fire through the skipass in an e46 sedan. I will probably use 16mm MDF so I may require some internal bracing.
I know some of you guys sometimes do quick designs with dimensions for the cut pieces. can anyone help?
The s10 is a 2006 model but I don't have it yet. I will download the specs shortly.
Thanks for any assistance.

Kicker L7 + sealed enclosure = please kill yourself
thats a bit harsh. i know vented would be the way to go but its a bit difficult in a sedan esp the bmw.

Aeroports (or even just round ports) will take up a lot less room than slotted and make building a lot easier. It's like building a large sealed box then drilling holes for the aeros.
problem is fitting both ports and sub thro' a skipass while avoiding cancellation within the cabin and trunk.
ok. got the sub. should i use Kicker box specs or tune to another frequency for SQ/pounder?

they stopped making s10 in 2004. you can't have a 2006 s10. it has to be a colorado or canyon.
