I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado extended cap truck. It has a Sony head unit, Sony 6.5's in the front doors and Pioneer 4x6's in the rear doors. My problem is one day I went to go get in my truck and both speakers on the passenger side just didn't work. I wired up everything myself and did it the right way so I have no idea what is wrong with them. I live in Northern Maine and it has been very cold lately but I don't know if this has anything to do with it. Does my problem have anything to do with a blown fuse or what? It would be great for an answer.. Thanks

I would say the cold does not have anything to do with it. Just my hunch.

I would first check the balance on the head unit :) then the fuses.

Then move to the amplifier speaker connections, then to either the head unit or speaker connections, whichever is easiest, then on to the other one. I bet you find your problem.

check to make sure the speakers are balanced (headunit settings)

check to make sure the speakers are recieving power (easiest way is with a DMM). You may have blown channels on the hu/amp if you had some sort of short in the connections.
