bourboncollecti scammed me for $320 on an XBOX360 package.


PayPal filed in my favor but was unable to recover any funds.


I have been in contact with Rick. He stated his computer crashed and therefore had no way of getting on here or in contact with me. When I opened up a dispute he thought that meant I got my money back right away no matter what, and the package was still in shipment. He contacted UPS and had it sent back to him as he thought he was the one getting scammed. I am forwarding him the e-mails from PayPal and he will be sending the package out tomorrow and sending me the tracking info. So it looks like this could be resolved....

I mentioned this to him when I spoke on the phone and he said he would be getting in touch with the buyer....

actually sounded like a good guy on the phone... just misunderstanding about PayPal disputes/claims so he thought he was the one getting scammed.

I got a phone call back from him saying:

From my understandings you had already filed and received a refund before it had even shipped therefore I didn't bother sending or processing it, as you had already received your payment in full.


I will be calling him back shortly and discussing further.

Yea.... he was just confused on PayPal disputes and claims.

He thought me opening a dispute meant I got my money back so he was like

hell no... i'm getting scammed.... send me my package back UPS.

Actually was pretty chill seing as how I posted so much stuff about him... obviously that was a little low of me but hey... when you're a poor college student and you think you got scammed out of $320 that's what you do...lol

Forwards of PayPal e-mails have been sent.... he said he will be shipping it out again tomorrow and I requested tracking info through phone call and e-mail. Hopefully this can get resolved.

Ask him to provide you with the original UPS tracking numbers where he supposedly shipped.
Even if he requested an intercept it will still be in the UPS system and it will show what day,time, etc when it was sent.

He replied in e-mail that it will be sent out tomorrow at 12:00 and he will send tracking info via e-mail and phone call...I won't be canceling the claim until I get the package and it works.

After agreeing over the phone to send it out today at 12:00, he decided it would be easier to refund me...which I can't say I'm all that happy about. He stated reasoning of it being easier so we could both move on, and that he traded some of the games in the package for other games so we would have had to work out new terms.

My refund is currently pending, but I still can't say I'm that pleased as I've passed up numerous deals during the time that the I wasn't in contact with him.
