View Full Version : Pioneer skips when bass hits

and its not even that often. Might skip once or twice during a song. i have it bracketed good and even have a carpet type substance under the **** thing. Don't know why it is so infrequent. you would think it would do it a lot but not at all. its annoying nonetheless. any suggestions other than buying a flash drive? (probably going to buy a flash drive anyway just want to know if others have ran into this problem and what they did to resolve it)

i had that problem with my 7500 and 8600. I solved the problem by getting an Alpine 9887 :D

^Yea, my 7700 skipped like a mofo and I got my Alpine 9886 and it's been great so far and it's got the usb connection so you can just load up an 8-gig flashdrive and go to town with a crap-ton of music at hand and no skipping :)

Yep, time for flashdrive. I phased out all of my cds.
