Tweeters in the $50 - $60 range

I'm looking at the Infinity Kappa 10.9t, are those better than the 10.7t?

Are there any other tweeters in this price range that rival the Kappas?

edit: Or would it be better to buy tweeters and 5 1/4 speakers in a component package?

Can you fit large-format tweets?

Morel has some of the best silk domes I've heard in that price range...you should look into running them active, which is a better option anyway...

great tweets for the price, dont go by the brand name, and i ordered from this person with no probs

crossovers they come with arent bad either.... +0 -3db switch for tweet and can be crossed at 3 or 6khz

only thing that ***** is they arent black (they do look nice) but the mountings are kinda big...

oh wtf? i was looking around to buy some VC 100 just this last week and couldn't find any. Had to settle on some dayton audio

you almost may as well grab them, since they arent in production they're gonna get rarer.. and youll have some use for them one day im sure..


and ill admit they arent the best ever but i've heard more expensive tweeters that sound much worse and honestly, they hold up to the cal 25's i got sitting next to me very well... and i am more than happy with em...i dont think youll find much better for a pair under $100 at least
