Last one I had about 4 years ago was a Pioneer/Premier which was awesome I must say. Right now I'm lookin to upgrade my 92 Mustang & have been out of the car audio loop for a while. So what's new out there? Please fill me in!

Would like:
*Easy to use controls & display
*High Power
*Controls for Bass, Midrange, Treble, & Subwoofer
*Plays MP3's
*And whatever else is the latest & greatest-like cell phone adaptability, etc...

http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=6179. Or this unit. If you go to amazon.com and type in pioneer premier you can find these units cheaper. I've personally dealt with techronics before though. They have awesome customer service and I got my speakers in 2 days.

Alpine OMO still rules the field my neighbor has one in his van that is about 10 years old still works just fine. I use to have a pioneer but after trying to get rid of alternator noise for a week I sent it back and got an Alpine never had any trouble after that.
This is the model I would get if I could afford it right now lol.

whoa, that jvc unit plays dvd's on a small screen? $300? i thought dvd players would've been a lot more $$$ than that! but anyways, i don't think i'd be watchin too much dvd in the car. i like watchin movies on BIG screens lol!
joshua u posted too many that it makes it harder to decide lol!
more opinions on these units please. i do like the pioneer brands that i've had in the past.
