Sent him my zx1500.1 a couple of weeks ago. Upon receipt he was to send PS3 and some games. Upon receipt of the the PS3 I was to remit some $$$. Well, the zx1500.1 was delivered last Tuesday. He says he was not home and when he got home it was not there. I have been going back and forth with the shipper and UPS. At 1st, he was being helpful and was communicating with me. He said he received a note from the driver and was going to call them and see what was up. Well, that is the last I have heard, been 2 days. He has been on here but no replies.

UPS says if their investigation does not turn anything up they will reimburse me. Thankfully I inusred it. They seem to agree the package should have never been left where it was.

Hopefully I am wrong, but I really feel he is driving around with the amp and I have got screwed. I hope I am wrong.

Yeah...if UPS really is going to reimburse me that is fine. Will my paypal transaction work as a receipt?

Wait a minute, before UPS makes a decision you are already labeling him? You're already making assumptions?

uh...read...I said I am concerned b/c he has stopped communication, and has never contacted UPS as he said he would. I also said I hope it all works out, but is just not looking good.

At least it looks like you'll get your money back from UPS. How much did you insure it for?

dacheatham

300..right at what I paid for it. I just hope they take the paypal transaction as a proper receipt.

a couple weeks back I was offering up some subs I had for a ps3 and he said he would trade, then I told hime he would have to ship first he dissapeared, I hope it works out for you but when people do that they always seem fishy to me.

Not sure if this means anything to you or not but I believe I had a few transactions with him and they turned out just fine. I believe he was the buyer though....can't quite remember.
Best of luck with the situation!

I hate people who scam.

Sorry about this. Hope you get the PS3 before Christmas... assuming it was a Christmas present.

Thanks for all of the digging! It seems like a lot of people have had good transactions with him and all of the issues have been resolved in one way or another. I hope I am as lucky.

Thanks again, i really appreciate it.

well...he emailed me this morning and said his computer was messed up. He also saud he never received the amp and the UPS guy is lying. He still has not contacted UPS about it.

Hopefully this is just following the pattern of taking a long time to get to the desired end.

that was completely uncalled for...I do not know you and you do not know me. I am sure the police would really take care of this one.

Mr. Officer..I sent this guy an amp and he was supposed to send me a Playstation but he did not. Please arrest him. I am sure they would jump in their cars, head to his place, knock the door down, pepper spray him and take him in.

I hardly beleive this would constitute as theft. It might fly in court since the PM's "could" stand as a contract, although there are no signatures involved. I hardly think it would be worth my time to make a trip from AR to MA and pay court costs for such.

If you do not have anything constructive to say, then keep your mouth shut.

your right i dont know you but if you wait i think you are stupid. sorry to come off as a **** but thats the way i feel.
you dont need signatures to have a contract just a little :fyi: but if you both agreed to trade that is ur contract right there. and im sure you can file in small claims court in your area look into it though. dont just sit there with ur thumb in ur ***. if the ps3 was a gift for ur kid and i was in ur shoes be dam^ straight id be looking into everything and anything i can get that guy on

I can confirm 100% that Ilovebass and Ilovebass69 is a total scammer. I had Paypal do an investigation and they have found in my favor (just yesterday). I have all the info on him. I will work with anyone else who has been ripped off to put him in jail. I am dead serious. If I have to drive 1000 miles to do this, he is going down. Gary

I say dont sit back and get scammed. In most states it is theft by deception if your promised goods for payment and the seller does not deliver. Works the same on a trade if you can prove there is an agreement in place and he obtains your goods in a fraudulent manner.

Contact the local PD in his area and file a report, If they wont listen contact the county attorney where he lives. The county attorney asseses if a crime has been committed and will bring charges if you can supply them with proof.

I know it all sounds like a big PITA but it beats letting him skate off with your ****.
